Sheryl was born on October 2, 1945, in Saskatoon, SK., to John & Frieda Fyson. She grew up on the beautiful ‘Raspberry Ranch,’ north of Arelee, with her brother Rick. She loved dogs, The Beatles, books, and flowers. On October 3rd, 1964, she married Charles Dreyer. They had a son, Darren Dreyer, and a daughter, Dawn (Jim) Klassen. They were lovingly married for nearly 62 years. In that time, she had been blessed with 4 grandchildren, Alisa (Bryan) Rogers, Aimee Klassen, Carly (Phil) Dreyer, and John (Raquel) Klassen. She adored her 5 great-grandchildren: Annorah, Harriett, Gracelynn, Casey Klassen, and June Rogers. Sheryl enjoyed years of community through being a Rebekah, enjoying town fairs, dinners, and sports, especially when watching fastball, and visiting with family. She also enjoyed travelling with Charlie in the big truck whenever they could go together.
All her life, Sheryl was an avid reader who loved storytelling through pictures, songs, and books. Sheryl was the family historian. She was a collector of memories, and she cherished her family. She was full of warmth, always welcoming with a smile. She proudly lived by her oaths as a Rebekah, that friendship, love, and truth would form precious bonds that were to be honoured. Sheryl honoured her friends and family. Remembering every birthday, anniversary, and special event. Calling often just to check in and chat. Supporting anyone she loved any way she could. Sheryl loved well and was loved much in return. She peacefully passed on the summer afternoon of July 14th, 2026, in the arms of loved ones.
