Dennis George Firman
May 14, 1952 – August 9, 2021
Dennis passed away peacefully at St Paul’s Hospital Monday August 9, 2021 with family by his side.
Dennis is survived by his wife Maureen and his children Shawntelle (Jason) Barbara (Chris) Robert and Misty-Lynn (Lonney)along with numerous grandchildren.
Dennis is also survived by his siblings Penny (Matt) Kenny (Robyn) Janet and Jill (Tony) along with numerous nieces and nephews. 
Dennis is predeceased by his two children Stacey and Drew as well as his parents Charlie and Mary Firman.
Dennis was born in Shellbrooke SK May 14, 1952, he spent his adult life being a skilled miner and working all over the country, he was well known and respected within the industry.
Dennis will be remembered and celebrated by his family who he loved unconditionally, and whom hold cherished memories in their own touching way.

Think of him as living,
In the hearts of those he touched, 
For nothing loved is ever lost,
And he was loved so much. 

Dennis always lived life to the fullest, never fearing, always lived on the edge; I guess that’s why he was loved so dearly.  Dennis was a great example to all of us to live life and never give up because it will all work out in the end. ~Kenny

Papa and I would play soccer, shoot pellet guns, he was always there for us ~Brooke

Love it when he took me to the shooting range

Dad got me up on water skis for the first time when I was 12 ~Misty

Loved building model cars with papa ~Matt

Uncle gave crushing bear hugs, loved going “full boar” on his boat ~Hilary

Uncle always just loved me like a dad ~Trebor

Dennis was the best gift wrapper, he bought me a Felix the cat bank and borrowed all the money in it ~Jill

The many years of camping and fishing, just making memories with my dad ~Barb 

Papa would always snuggle me on the couch and watch movies ~Melodee 

Mining is a small world and Dennis was a well known raise miner, I have the pleasure of meeting new people and hearing the always entertaining stories of Dennis’ antics ~Jason 

Dad was the strongest man I knew, and I loved him ~Shawntelle 

At the request of Dennis, there will be no service held.
