Brian passed away at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon after a brief illness. He was born in Dodsland, Saskatchewan on August 20, 1931, one of five children of Sidney and Lillian Shuttle.
Brian was predeceased by his parents, his sisters Vivian and Jean, and brother Gordon. He is survived by his sister Joan (Bob) Baker, sister-in-law Caroline Shuttle and numerous nephews and nieces.
Brian went to school in Ruthilda and enjoyed a career as a farmer, eventually taking over the family farm south of Ruthilda. He was an active member of the Ruthilda council and served
as library representative for the district. Brian was an avid curler and seasoned bus traveller to many places in Canada and the USA. He lived in Biggar in recent years where he indulged
in his love of watching sports and attending regular coffee meetings with his buddies. Most recently, he and his family appreciated the excellent care provided by caregivers at Meadowlark Apartments
and the Biggar Union Hospital. Cremation has taken place.
